Projects

Here is a sample of the projects I've recently helped complete at Landis+Gyr.

Horizon VDI - Worked with a VAR to implement a POC system. I then built multiple production Horizon systems to provide a secure desktop for administering our cloud service and corporate systems.
SUSE Manager - Installed and implemented SUMA v3.2 in 2018 and configured repositories for multiple Linux flavors and versions. Upgraded to v4.0 and implemented the Content Lifecycle feature to replace the manual processes we had been using to manage packages available to our Linux systems.
Data Center Migration - Worked with application owners, product support, and IT teammates, for three years, to plan, document, and implement the migration of all data and services from several offices to two new co-location facilities.
Ansible Roles for SOC2 - Wrote many new roles, and modified some existing roles, to check and enforce SOC2 security requirements for our Linux and Solaris systems.
